The TUNICO-Project was designed as an interdisciplinary endeavour pursuing research both in Arabic dialectology and text technology. The research activities in both areas were closely intertwined and characterised by a high degree of interaction between the teams at the University of Vienna and the Austrian Academy of Sciences. The information on the following two pages is supposed to highlight some of the research results achieved in the project and/or on the basis of data provided by the TUNICO team.
